Points of Pride
Clinton Elementary is a vibrant and energetic school. Over 400 students ranging from kindergarten age through fifth grade are welcomed daily. Students are assigned to a classroom teacher and participate in special classes that include: art, music, gym, computer lab, classroom counseling lessons, and band at fifth grade. These extra experiences are all taught by certified teachers. The staff at Clinton Elementary is committed to children and works hard to provide a rich experience in day to day learning. Whether it is the school secretary, a teacher aide, bus drivers, or library staff, everyone extends a willingness to be helpful and supportive.
The school is supported by an active PTO. Parent volunteers organize family "Bingo for Books" nights, Mother Son events, Daddy Daughter dances, pay for school field trips and assemblies, and much more. Other activities and events include a back to school open house, family reading night, popcorn day, student council theme days for school spirit, a spring learning fair and art show, along with holiday concerts in December. With a 97% parent teacher conference attendance rate, it is easy to see that involvement is truly present.
